Where is the Boardwalk FantaSea yacht located?

What is the cruising route?
The cruising route takes you from the panoramic views of the Kemah Boardwalk into Galveston Bay and Clear Lake, where you can enjoy the scenic waterscapes and beautiful homes along the way.

Will we get seasick?
Both the substantial length and breadth of our luxury yacht; as well as, the protected waterways on which we travel, provide premium conditions for a stable and pleasant cruise. Getting seasick under these conditions is unlikely. On occasion, inclement weather conditions dictate our route and if the waves on Galveston Bay are choppy and uncomfortable, the Captain may elect to further explore the sights on Clear Lake to ensure a delightful cruise for everyone. It is recommended that guests who have a history of seasickness take preliminary precautions to avoid this just in case. Crew members cannot give out medicine aboard the yacht.

What about inclement weather?
Rain or inclement weather in most cases does not present a problem. Other than the aft lower deck, the upper promenade deck and the bow perimeter -which are the perfect spots to venture out to when the weather is suitable- our yacht is enclosed and climate controlled.

Are the plasma TV screens available for client use?
Yes! We encourage our guests to incorporate the two 42'' Plasma Screens with their cruise. We have the capability to play DVD's and show data from a PC using a "Picture CD" or a Power Point presentation. For a wedding event, you may want to show family photos throughout the reception. They are also a great asset for proms, reunions, anniversary and corporate events- bring your favorite video games and have a ball! Your personal Cruise Consultant is the avenue to gain all the details. Unlimited use of the plasma screens is complimentary.

Is it permitted to add to the décor of the vessel?
Yes! Please discuss your ideas with your Cruise Consultant. Our professional interior designer has tastefully appointed the vessel with just the perfect amount of nautical flare. As this is your cruise, our goal is to provide what you require, though a few safety limitations may apply.

How do we reserve the vessel for private charters?
Reserving the vessel requires a signed contract and a 50% deposit for corporate or social events, weddings require a 25% deposit. Deposits will be applied to the balance of your cruise.

When is final payment for private charters due?
Final payment for your event is required 14 days prior to departure. Your Cruise Consultant will assist with any questions or details.

Is there a processing fee for using a credit card?
We do not charge a processing fee on the initial deposit to hold a cruise or for purchasing a public cruise ticket. There is, however, a 4% processing fee applied to the balance of any private or corporate cruise that is paid with a credit card. To avoid this fee, simply forward to us a personal or company check 14 days prior to your cruise date.

Is there a fuel surcharge on private charters?
Unfortunately due to the high cost of fuel we reserve the right to implement a $100 per hour fuel charge on private charters.

Once the contract has been signed may I change the guest count?
Yes! We realize that friends and relatives will be excited about your upcoming event on a luxury yacht and would like to be included. Your final guest count is due 14 days prior to your event.

May I use my personal choice of vendor? (Photographer, Florist, Entertainment)?
The Staff at Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht Charters has carefully selected vendors that have a fantastic reputation for delivering great results. We have had some creative opportunities in the past with customer provided vendors.

What is the difference between "boarding time" and "cruising time?"
"Boarding Time" is the earliest time guests may board the ship. You are allowed to board any time after that up until the "Cruising Time" at which point the vessel will set sail. Boarding for most trips is 30 minutes prior to "Cruising Time."

Are children allowed on dinner cruises?
Children are welcome on most of the Boardwalk FantaSea's cruises. A ticket is needed per person to board, regardless of age.

What size groups can the Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht accommodate?
We accommodate groups from 2 to 140. Our fabulous Public Cruises are a great venue for smaller groups like families and office parties. For private events such as Holiday parties and weddings, the Boardwalk FantaSea can accommodate groups up to 140. The Boardwalk FantaSea will partner up with one of our friendly partners to accommodate a party larger than 140 guests. Using the great two-boat charter option we can accommodate up to 298 passengers.

Are there restrooms on board?
Yes, there are full size lavatories on each level of the ship. A men's and a women's "head" on the Main Deck and one unisex facility on the Second Deck.

How many people may be seated at one table?
Anywhere from 2 to 10 people may be seated at one table; table sizes include 4 guests, 6 guests, 8 guests or 10 guests.

Is smoking allowed on the cruise?
Smoking is allowed on the outside open-air decks. Use of provided ashtrays is mandatory to eliminate litter. Don't Mess with Texas ~ we love our coastline!

Can we get married on the boat with a party of less than 20?
Yes, we can accommodate small wedding parties. Call Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht Charters at 281-538-9600 for information about FantaSea's fabulous "Mini-Monies."

I do not have a credit card. How can I make reservations?
Cash, money order, cashier's check or personal checks can be paid at our Boardwalk FantaSea office located at 215 Kipp Ave. Kemah, TX 77565. Call (281) 538-9600 to schedule a time to make a payment and for details. All personal checks must be paid at least 14 days prior to cruise in order for reservation to be made.

Is the Boardwalk FantaSea wheelchair accessible?
Boardwalk FantaSea Cruises are not 100% wheelchair accessible. We do have an accessible ramp and will do our best to accommodate everyone. We cannot guarantee 100% accessibility due to low tides, high tides and/or door width – based on wheelchair size.

I need to cancel my cruise, what can I do?
Although your purchase is final and non-refundable, with 48 hours notice, we will be happy to reschedule your reservations to another available date of your choosing up to six months from the date of your original purchase.

Can I bring a birthday cake on board?
The Boardwalk FantaSea welcomes guests to bring a small cake on board for their group to enjoy. Please be sure to notify the sales team of any celebration upon reservation as we may be able to offer you special services for special occasions such as cakes, champagne flutes, boarding photos and upgraded wines by the bottle or and even over night accommodations.

What is the standard dress attire?
Dinner Cruises: Usually business casual or dressy casual attire. For special occasions such as New Year's and Mother's Day guests usually dress more formally; suit jackets and cocktail attire.

Do you offer Gift Cards?
Yes! Landry's, Inc. Gift Cards are accepted for public cruises on the Boardwalk FantaSea. These gift cards are valid at over 200 Landry's, Inc. locations nationwide! You may order a Landry's, Inc. Gift Card online by following this link: Landry's Gift Card.

Depending upon capacity of individual trips, our crew will either allow open "cruise ship" style seating or have an assigned seating arrangement. "Cruise ship" style seating can be described as such; tables ranging in size from 4 guests to 10 guests will accommodate parties of multiple sizes. Guests from one party may be sat with guests from another party at one table.
